I am still working my way through our pictures from Ireland. I don’t know if I will ever catch up on all the editing I need to do!
The last time Annika visited a beach she was only a couple of months old and we went to the one of my favorite rocky beaches near my parents house. I was surprised then that the waves and freezing cold water didn’t even seem to phase her. This was not the case this time around. The sun was shining and the water was warmer, but Annika refused to get anywhere near it. She cried and clung to our necks when we tried to take her into the gently rolling surf. She has quite a few new fears lately, and I guess waves are one of them. She did, however, love the sand. She ate it and threw it and picked rocks out of it. We buried her up to her waist and she loved it. I was really hoping my daughter would love the ocean as much as I do, but for now, I guess I will have to settle for sand. Someday she will learn to appreciate the sea – waves and all.

Deb Lamb - I love the sea! When we drove onto Whidbey Island last week from our long vacation, I had to take a deep breath and smell the ocean–don’t know why I love it so much, it doesn’t look half as beautiful as the beach these pictures were taken at! Beautiful.
Taniel - I really cannot wait until you come and visit. I miss all of you and especially want to see Annika. These pictures are wonderful. You never cease to amaze me. And we thought that you weren’t the creative type…
Cristine - What great pictures! I love the one of you and her on the beach. BEAUTIFUL!
Dad - Your work is beautiful. I also really like your web site. You’re doing a great job. Most of all, thank you for taking so many pitures of my little girl. I can’t wait to see Annika in a few weeks. Next time you bring her to Washington, we will get her to love the ocean, waves, sand, rocks, drift wood and all.
Miss you all.
Dad
Megan - Beautiful pictures of a beautiful family. And your website is totally impressive. I assume you are going to Wendy’s wedding, but will you be going to the open house in Florida? My guess is no, but if you were we thought about driving down. Let me know, and call me sometime so we can catch up. It has been like 6 months!
Grandma Lamb - We love your pictures and what they are about. Annie is really growing and we are eager to see you all.
Love, Grandma
