I celebrated a birthday this last week and I think Anni was more excited about it than anyone else. She sang to me all day long, opened all my presents for me, and kept exclaiming “Mommy Birthday Party!” I am posting this video mostly because it makes me laugh and so I want to share it. However, I think it is also a wonderful representation of my life right now. The cake is lopsided, Annika’s hair is out of control, and my hands are full. Even with my Mom still here, my life feels hectic and there never seem to be enough hands. But I am surrounded by my girls, Annika is singing, and we are all laughing. Things may be crazy, hair may be undone, dinner might not be on the table, and my blog might be chronically neglected, but we love each other and we are enjoying life. Plus, Annika makes us laugh every day. Happy birthday to me!

Oh, and I just watched the video of Anni blowing out her candles and making you light them over and over again… too cute! I love her and miss her so much!

Taniel - bahaha– I watched this 5 times, seriously. I didn’t get the full effect of it when you showed me on skype, it kept skipping. Annika has quite the lungs. augustina - Seriously so stinkin adorable! Annika you are such a cute little girl! It was so funny to watch that it got even funnier the more I watched. Yes, I am now officially your blog stalker. Scary, I know! I just have to say, thanks for bringing back all the fun memories of when my babies were little(r)….you are wonderful and amazing and truly blessed.

Jordan Carroll - Happy Birthday! Love the video! Brady was sitting here with me as I watched and he was singing along too! At the end he said, “Yayyyy!!!!” and was jumping up and down on the couch. “Happy Birthday” is his favorite song!

Monica - Oh HOlland family… How I love you all. I know we all say this but I know it’s b/c we feel we can’t express enough how much we miss each other. I have a love/hate thing wiht pics and videos.
