My babies are almost four months old now! Where did the time go?
I love watching these girls grow up. Lucy is my social girl — my friend Kelly came over the other day and she laughed and laughed for Kelly. I have yet to get her to laugh for me. Elise is stronger and loves to stand. You stand her up on your lap and she gets a great big smile. You can tell she is so proud of herself and she does not want to sit down again. Both girls love Annika, despite the overabundance of “love” they get from her. You would think that they would start to cry when they see her coming, but instead they give her great big smiles. That makes Annika so happy, and she’ll come running to tell me “Mommy! Lucy and Elise smiled at me! They like me!” They are old enough now to sit in their bumbo chairs, and Annika usually keeps them entertained while I fix dinner. I am hoping this is a good sign for the months and years to come.
We can’t imagine our life without these beautiful girls.
