When Brad went to Utah this past weekend, he left his iPhone with me. When he came back, I kept the phone. When we are at home, my camera is never very far away, but there is something fun about taking pictures with the iPhone. There’s no metering, no debate on the appropriate aperture, and even when the pictures are grainy and slightly blurry it adds to the appeal. I’m hooked! Even better, Annika has figured out how to find the camera on the phone, and is getting to be pretty proficient. I mean, I delete my fair share of photos that are of her fingers, or the floor, or of my backside, but she’s getting to be good. As I scrolled through the shots she took the last couple of days, I had to smile – it was a look at my life from a different perspective. I thought I would share a peek into our world, from Annika’s point of view.

In our daily routine, Annika is always the first to go into the babies' room after a nap. She goes without me and I listen to their giggles until they turn into tears, and then I come in.
