Some days are better than others, and this one has been a little crazy. We’ve had good moments – blowing bubbles, taking a walk around the lake, and reading stories – but there has been a lot of screaming, and a lot of crying. Some days are like that, I guess. More than once today I’ve wanted to just lock myself in my room and lay on my bed where I can’t hear all the crying. Or maybe just join in and cry along with them. But now all three of my girls are asleep, which is a rare occurrence. I am thankfully enjoying the silence, and saying a quiet prayer of gratitude for a tender mercy. Hopefully when they wake up we will all be refreshed, happier, and ready to enjoy the rest of our day together.
But for now, is there anything better than a sleeping child?

Nate - Was the screaming and crying from Brad? Would he try to pound down the door if you locked yourself in a room? I will have a chat with him…
Cristine - That picture is so sweet! Hope everyone wakes up feeling refreshed!
Mom - Wait. Now why are you questioning my slight nervousness about caring for my sweet granddaughters while you are off having fun? Am I missing a piece of this puzzle? (please write down exactly what you did to get them all to sleep at the same time–I may need those instructions.)
